We’re looking for hardworking, positive and proactive couriers to join our Auckland-based team.

With a strong focus on customer service and operational finesse, Urgent Couriers is an industry leader. Our couriers are safe, efficient and proactive. We are a technology pioneer and support our courier fleet with paid training, free hardware and complimentary sign writing. In return we expect high standards – putting our customers first – and we all work hard to ensure a collaborative and constructive environment for our team.

You’ll have a good knowledge of Auckland’s areas, be able and willing to follow instructions both via dispatch technology (portable devices) and verbally from our operational teams, be hard-working, drive safely and be comfortable and professional when driving throughout our delivery areas in varying traffic conditions. You will have a good command of English and be able to communicate effectively with our clients and operational teams. You will be well presented and customer service focused – it is our couriers who are the face of our business.

Recent feedback from our clients has included: “Your drivers have always been efficient, reliable and professional…” and “…your couriers have been exceptional… so polite, friendly and quick”. We expect this standard for every pick-up, delivery and while on the road representing the Urgent Couriers brand.

You’ll need to be a team player, committed and proactive. We’ll ensure that you’re well trained with a guaranteed income for the first three months so you can focus on being a successful part of our team. You will also be compensated for fuel price increases with our Monthly Fuel Variation payments.

You will operate as a contractor to Urgent Couriers and we offer support with this such as saving your tax in a company-controlled trust account to assist with your tax obligations.

If you think that you have what it takes to be part of our awesome team then please complete the registration form to be emailed an information pack and application form.

We welcome applications from all parts of New Zealand’s diverse society. You must have the right to work in New Zealand to apply for this role.
